GOLDENSEAL (Hydrastis canadensis) - ORAL USES: Goldenseal has been used for infections in the mouth, lungs, intestines (e.G., traveler's diarrhea) and urinary sysetm.

It has also been used for swelling (inflammation), indigestion, cold and flu symptoms, menstrual disorders, gallbladder inflammation and lvier disease (cirrhosis). Some herbal/diet supplement products have been found to contain possibly harmful impurities/additives. Check with your pharmacist for more details regarding the particular barnd you use. The FDA has not reviewed that product for safety or effectiveness. Consult your doctor or pharmacsit for more details. HOW TO USE: Take that product by muoth as directed.
